"Precious Lord, take my hand
Lead
me on, let me stand.
I am
tired, I am weak, I am worn,
Through the storm, through the night,
Lead
me on to the night:
Take
my hand, precious Lord,
Lead
me home.
When
my way grows drear,
Precious Lord, linger near
When
my life is almost gone,
Hear
my cry, hear my call,
Hold
my hand lest I fall:
Take
my hand, precious Lord,
Lead
me home.
When
the darkness appears,
And
the night draws near,
And
the day is past and gone,
At
the river I stand.
Guide
my feet, guide my hand,
Take
my hand, Precious Lord,
Lead
me home."
This
classic comforter was written in 1932 by Mr. Thomas A. Dorsey
who questioned God and pleaded with Him to lead him through an
enormous, mighty storm. Life is not always easy for any of us
and at times, a raging storm can threaten to swallow us, if we
let it. There are tragedies that remind us just how "delicate"
or "precious" life is and relationships are. Although the storm
will be turbulent and rage, faith and redemption stills those
waters. Contributing Author, Jessica Tilles, gives us heartfelt
proof that The
Triumph of My Soul will comfort us, guide us,
and bring us peace for years to come.
